Graham Hills

Overview:

Graham Hills is located near Pleasantville, NY and is under an hour away from the city. In my opinion, the big debate between enduro trails close to the city is between here and Alpine. This place has everything from rock slabs, to log drops with fall line landings, and even gap jumps. Seems like a worthy contender.

Pros:

Graham Hills has about three different good downhill runs, but there are also a few other downhill trails that have only natural features. I usually like to warm up on Snaggle which starts out pretty natural with some rocks to air off, then goes into two large gap jumps. Another ‘must hit’ is the Red Trail. This run starts off with two cool rock slabs, and has many sketchy log drops with fall line landings that will test your speed management skills. Finally, on my last visit I came across a secret jump line that looked like it was still being built. It will have lots of epic jumps that I can’t wait to ride.

Cons:

There are only three standout descents here and you might start getting a little bored after awhile so I think this place is only good for an early morning or after-work ride.

Rating: 6/10

Graham Hills is a great spot if you’re visiting NYC and have a limited amount of time to ride. It offers just enough to satisfy most riding styles and abilities, and it also seems like new stuff is being built.

Update (11/28):

Recently, Graham has added an entire new skills area right above the parking lot. The skills park features a beginner, intermediate, and advanced jumpline that are so much fun! Additionally, I was able to find the illegal jump spot that has some of the best non bike park jumps in the area! It looks like I might need to do some more exploring here to see what Graham really has to offer!
