Rhode Island

When you hear the phrase ocean state, you probably think of summer beach towns with neighboring luxurious houses and 5 star hotels nearby. While this assessment is somewhat accurate, the northern part of the state does not border the ocean, does not have 5 star hotels or a beach town, but it does have just enough elevation to keep things interesting. I’ve seen states with the same elevation as Rhode Island make sort of fun cross country trails, but not here. Here they do it right, they make short downhill screamers, packed with slabs and jumps!
